Packaging Technician

Position Title: Packaging Technician Work Location: Athens, GA 30601 Assignment Duration: 6 Months Work Schedule: 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM-7:00 AM - Sunday-Thursday Work Arrangement: Onsite Note: Possibility of the assignment to be converted to a full-time role. Position Summary:
- Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures to operate packaging equipment.
- Assists during set up of Packaging equipment.
- Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures to operate packaging equipment
- Assists during set up of Packaging equipment
- Maintains all waste materials in the proper satellite storage bins.
- Assists in completing all documentation required
- Observes, challenges, advises, and supports teammates to adhere to policies and/or procedures.
- Effectively communicates process and/or equipment needs.
- Responsible for data entry which includes recording product packaging information, downtime, and standard production yields.
- Maintains a safe, clean and organize work environment.
- Maintains facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Required experience : Manufacturing, Packaging
- Education : High School Diploma or GED
