Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting 2nd–5th grade students as a special education professional. Make a meaningful difference by providing targeted instruction and compassionate support in a small-group setting. You’ll collaborate closely with fellow educators to help students thrive academically and personally throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid CDE license with a mild to moderate endorsement
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly valued
- Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Your Role:
- Deliver tailored special education services to a diverse group of students in grades 2–5
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) responsive to each student’s unique needs
- Work in partnership with general education teachers and specialists to create an engaging, accessible learning experience for all
- Track student progress, maintain documentation, and communicate regularly with families
- Encourage and support each student’s growth, confidence, and independence by adapting instructional methods and classroom management strategies as needed
This contract position runs from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule (40 hours, Monday–Friday). Enjoy the stability and flexibility that a full-time role provides, while building lasting connections with your students and fellow staff members.
