Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, duration, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to craft individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to client requirements.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices to empower their recovery journey.

• Engage in integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other medical professionals to ensure holistic treatment.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, providing support and resources to combat stigma associated with mental illnesses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will focus on providing empathetic support to individuals from various backgrounds, including homeless populations, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. Your ability to build trust and rapport will be crucial in helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the development of meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
