Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and other related conditions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to ensure effective interventions.

• Provide educational support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and practical self-care strategies to enhance recovery.

• Monitor client progress towards treatment goals, making modifications to plans as necessary based on feedback and ongoing assessments.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide holistic care and ensure comprehensive treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients facing mood disorders, particularly those who might be experiencing homelessness, are refugees, or are survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Annual salary in the range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
