Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting, enabling flexibility while maintaining high-quality care for our clients. As part of our outpatient office team, therapists are provided with robust support from administrative staff and access to a rich array of resources to ensure client needs are met effectively. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a sustainable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and dynamics of clients’ mood disorders, ensuring appropriate therapeutic measures are taken.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that account for each client's unique goals, preferences, and treatment needs through collaborative engagement.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in client health and circumstances.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic interventions and effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, documenting client interactions and progress consistently.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to foster a culture of learning and growth.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients, both within the therapeutic space and in the broader community, to address stigma and promote greater awareness.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals suffering from a variety of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients include vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence.
