Senior Instructor/Site Lead- Paramedic or EMT

All Native Group is seeking a Senior Instructor / Site Lead – Paramedic or EMT to provide medically credentialed instruction, operational leadership, and site-level oversight in a Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) environment. This role is responsible for delivering standardized, high-fidelity medical training, operating simulation systems, mentoring Instructor/Operators, coordinating training execution, and serving as the primary site-level interface with military leaders, Government representatives, senior executive leaders, and contractor personnel. This position requires maintaining current medical certifications, operating Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), overseeing high-fidelity, scenario-based medical training in classroom and field environments, and ensuring site operations are conducted in accordance with contractual performance standards. This position is located in Fort McCoy, Wisconsin Essential Functions Deliver TC3 training across all four tiers: All Service Members (ASM/Tier I), Combat Lifesaver (CLS/Tier II), Combat Medic (CM/Tier III), and Combat Paramedic (CP/Tier IV) Instruct 68W Combat Medic sustainment training and CLS initial/sustainment training to non-medical personnel Conduct training in classroom, laboratory, and field training/evaluation environments Maintain proper instructor-to-student ratios per MEDCoE directives: Classroom lecture 1:24, Classroom practical exercise 1:6, Invasive procedures 1:1, Skills validation testing 1:1 per casualty Instruct mixed populations of Soldiers — both inexperienced and seasoned — in class sizes directed by the medical proponent Assess students' critical thinking and psychomotor skills under high-fidelity simulated conditions Support a projected minimum throughput of at least 2,500 68W students annually across all MSTC sites Provide senior-level instructional oversight to ensure training is delivered consistently, safely, and in accordance with approved curriculum, medical proponent standards, and contractual requirements Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to assigned Instructor/Operators and training support personnel Observe instructor performance and provide feedback to improve instructional delivery, scenario execution, student evaluation, and compliance with training standards Site Leadership & Coordination Serve as the site-level lead responsible for day-to-day coordination of training operations, instructor support, and execution of assigned MSTC requirements Act as the primary site-level point of contact for Government representatives, military leaders, contractor leadership, senior executive leaders, and internal program management personnel Communicate professionally and effectively with senior military leaders, civilian leaders, medical personnel, contractor staff, and executive leadership regarding training requirements, site status, staffing, equipment, and performance matters Coordinate instructor schedules, training support requirements, classroom resources, simulation resources, equipment availability, and administrative deliverables to support successful training execution Support the Program Manager by identifying operational risks, staffing concerns, training issues, equipment limitations, and recommended corrective actions Mentor assigned personnel and assist with onboarding, instructor development, peer observations, training standardization, and performance improvement activities Demonstrate the ability to illustrate prior supervisory or site-level leadership experience in a medical, military, emergency services, or training environment Resolve routine administrative, instructional, scheduling, and minor performance issues at the site level and elevate significant issues to the Program Manager as required Scenario Development & Execution Utilize approved scenario-based training per course Training Circulars or as approved by the medical proponent Apply moulage techniques, environmental control, and theatrical special effects to simulate realistic injuries and environments Assess students using grading sheets for individual scenarios Ensure all training content is approved by the appropriate medical proponent (MTN, Deployed Medicine, CMSD) Simulation Operations Operate MSTC systems (ISS, VPS, MT-C2) Configure and execute realistic training scenarios Apply moulage and simulation effects Training Evaluation & Reporting Contribute to Monthly Staffing Report (MSR) data as required Document and report accidents/incidents Maintain training records, student evaluations, and AAR documentation Equipment Maintenance Operate and perform operator-level preventive maintenance on assigned patient simulators, manikins, medical training equipment Follow OEM instructions for handling MSTC equipment requiring extended service agreement repair Inventory and manage consumable items (skins, synthetic blood, PMCS kits) Notify the COR when consumables are required Initiate fielded equipment repair/condition status reports and keep the TOR and APM/COR apprised of equipment issues Notify the W-TRS maintainer (via ACA) for equipment failures outside extended service agreement coverage Quality & Compliance Participate in Quality Control Plan (QCP) activities including peer observations, self‑assessments, and After‑Action Reviews (AARs) Maintain all certifications current throughout the contract — no lapsed credentials Complete annual TC 8‑800 recertification (all tables) Participate in enterprise quality initiatives including instructor development programs and cross‑site standardization Competencies Experience reviewing documents, maintaining electronic files, and managing spreadsheets, tracking logs, suspense actions, or similar records. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and standard office equipment. Strong organizational, data‑entry, written communication, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and customer‑service skills. Ability to manage multiple records and deadlines and communicate professionally with military, civilian, medical, recruiting, contractor, senior military, and senior executive personnel. Ability to learn Government information systems and Army applicant-processing procedures. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Experience mentoring, coaching, supervising, or leading training or instructional staff. Ability to illustrate prior supervisory experience in a medical, military, emergency services, instructional, or operational environment. Proficiency in conflict resolution, team management, staff coordination, and professional communication. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to brief senior military leaders, Government representatives, program leadership, and senior executive leaders. Resolve administrative, instructional, scheduling, and minor performance issues. Ensure timely completion of reports, rosters, deliverables, training documentation, and site‑level administrative requirements. Experience overseeing adherence to training standards, security protocols, classroom requirements, safety procedures, and contractual performance standards. Ability to mentor Instructor/Operators and support instructor development, peer observations, quality control activities, and cross‑site standardization. Supervisory Responsibility This position provides site-level leadership, mentoring, coordination, and operational oversight of assigned Instructor/Operators and training support personnel. The Senior Instructor / Site Lead may provide input regarding instructor performance, training execution, scheduling, quality control, and site‑level compliance; however, formal disciplinary authority remains with designated program management unless otherwise assigned. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout training environments for extended periods (8+ hours) Ability to lift and carry medical training equipment up to 50 lbs Ability to kneel, crouch, and work at ground level during field training exercises Ability to work in outdoor field environments in varying weather conditions Ability to apply moulage and operate patient simulators requiring manual dexterity While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is full‑time position. Monday through Friday, 0800-1700 local time. Overtime, weekend, and extended hours may be required during surge operations per Government direction. Location We also operate in 22+ MSTC sites across CONUS and OCONUS (Germany, Korea). Specific site assignment determined at hire. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected. Occasional travel may be required for cross‑site support, surge operations, training conferences, or the MSTC Exchange Program. OCONUS positions require SOFA documentation. Experience Candidate must demonstrate a qualifying military medical or licensed clinical background, current required medical certifications, and experience delivering emergency medical, tactical trauma, or combat casualty care training. Candidate must also demonstrate prior supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site‑level coordination experience in a medical, military, emergency services, instructional, or operational environment. Prior experience in MSTC operations, high‑fidelity medical simulation, TC3 instruction, 68W sustainment training, moulage, equipment maintenance, training documentation, instructor development, and coordination with senior military or executive leaders is strongly preferred. Candidate should be capable of leading and mentoring Instructor/Operators, instructing mixed‑experience military populations in classroom, laboratory, and field environments, and maintaining compliance with medical proponent standards, contract requirements, quality control requirements, and certification obligations. Basic Qualifications Required Military/Medical Background Must Meet ONE Of The Following Former 68W or 18D Noncommissioned Officer (NCO), Advanced Leader Course (ALC) Graduate Former Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, E-6 or above Former Air Force 4NOX1 or Aerospace Medical Service (4NOX1), E-6 or above Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician (MD/DO) Current Emergency Medical Technician with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the medical scope of practice and demonstrated supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site‑level coordination experience Current Paramedic with a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the medical scope of practice and proof of supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site‑level coordination experience Certifications Current Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician or Nationally Registered Paramedic, as applicable to position assignment Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Life Support (ALS), if required by assigned instructional duties or medical scope of practice Emergency Medical Technician candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the medical scope of practice and must be able to illustrate prior supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site‑level coordination experience. Paramedic candidates must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience within the medical scope of practice and must provide proof of supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site‑level coordination experience. Preferred Qualifications Pre‑Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification (NAEMT) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA) Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) provider or instructor certification Experience with medical simulation TADSS (e.g., SimMan 3G, MTC2, Cut Suit) Prior MSTC or medical simulation training center experience Experience with moulage techniques and theatrical special effects for high‑fidelity scenarios Familiarity with TC 8‑800 tables and Deployed Medicine curriculum Prior experience serving as a Site Lead, Lead Instructor, Senior Instructor, Training Coordinator, EMS Supervisor, military medical NCO, or equivalent leadership role Experience briefing, coordinating with, or supporting senior military leaders, Government representatives, program managers, and senior executive leaders Experience mentoring instructors, conducting peer observations, supporting instructor development, and ensuring instructional standardization Experience managing training schedules, instructor assignments, classroom requirements, site‑level documentation, and operational deliverables Additional Eligibility Qualifications Complete Level 1 Antiterrorism Awareness Training within 30 calendar days Complete iWatch Training within 30 calendar days Complete Level 1 OPSEC Training within 30 calendar days of reporting for duty, with annual refresher Register in Army Training Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) and complete DoD Cybersecurity training annually Complete annual SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention) training Comply with All Native Group on‑boarding LMS OCONUS positions: Complete AOR‑specific AT Awareness Training per AR 525‑13 Comply with all CUI handling requirements per DODI 5200.48 Comply with HAZMAT management requirements per applicable OSHA, EPA, and military regulations Complete and certify IAW TC8‑800 within 30 days of starting Security Clearance Must be eligible for and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) — requires minimum Tier 1 (T1) investigation.
