Full-Time | 1st Shift | Forest Lake, MN Manufacturing | Weekly Pay

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals - Forest Lake is seeking experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machinists for openings in Forest Lake, MN . This opportunity is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision machining, enjoy working with tight tolerances, and thrive in a high-quality, team-focused production environment.

Pay & Schedule

Hourly Pay: $33.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:45 a.m.-2:15 p.m.

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

CNC Machine Operation - Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components.
Blueprint Interpretation - Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
Tooling & Offsets - Adjust tool lengths, wear offsets, and machine parameters to maintain accuracy.
Quality Inspection - Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools.
Process Improvement - Identify machining issues, recommend improvements, and support continuous quality initiatives.

Qualifications

CNC Machining Experience - 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a production environment preferred.
Technical Knowledge - Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining best practices.
Inspection Skills - Ability to use precision measurement tools with accuracy and consistency.
Mechanical Aptitude - Strong troubleshooting ability and comfort working with mechanical systems.
Physical Requirements - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
