Analytics Engineer

Project Description Client is looking for a Lead Product Analytics && Decision Science professional to help shape the future of digital commerce through rigorous analytics and business insight. This role goes beyond traditional web analytics and reporting. This role partners with Product, Merchandising, UX, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering to answer complex business questions using clickstream data, experimentation, advanced measurement methodologies, and statistical analysis. Client is looking for someone who can design the right analytical approach-not just build dashboards-to understand customer behavior, measure business impact, and influence product and commercial strategy.
Top Requirements (Must haves)
- 7+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Ecommerce Analytics, Decision Science, Advanced Analytics, or a related field
- Strong retail ecommerce experience and a deep understanding of digital customer journeys
- Advanced SQL skills with experience analyzing large-scale clickstream or event-level datasets
- Experience designing, evaluating, and interpreting website experiments
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation, incrementality, and causal measurement
- Ability to independently frame ambiguous business questions and develop rigorous analytical approaches
- Experience translating complex analysis into clear business recommendations
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, or a comparable digital analytics platform
