We’re hiring an Inventory Control Associate to join our day shift team in a cold storage facility on the east side of Indianapolis. Location: East Side of Indianapolis
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Work Environment: Cold storage facility (approximately 30&degree;F)

Job Summary:

As an Inventory Control Associate, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts, tracking product movement, and ensuring materials are properly labeled and stored. You’ll work closely with production, replenishment, and QA teams to ensure product integrity, prevent shortages, and support daily operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies

• Monitor stock levels to ensure products are properly rotated using FIFO principles

• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and condition

• Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems

• Collaborate with production and replenishment teams to support workflow and product availability

• Identify and report damaged or expired products

• Assist with cycle counts, audits, and inventory adjustments

• Follow all GMP, food safety, and cold storage handling policies

What You’ll Need:

• 1 year of inventory or warehouse experience (preferred in food production)

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

• Dependable attendance and a team-oriented mindset

• Ability to work in a cold environment (around 30&degree;F) for extended periods

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk throughout the shift

• Basic computer and documentation skills
