Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services is recruiting experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants interested in pain management and interventional pain practice opportunities in the Louisville, KY area.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations, for acute and chronic pain conditions.
•Evaluate diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and other clinical data to support treatment planning and ongoing patient care.
•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing both medication management and non-pharmacologic approaches.
•Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations, practice protocols, and collaborating physician guidelines.
•Perform patient follow-up visits and reassess treatment effectiveness, modifying care plans as clinically appropriate.
•Educate patients and families regarding pain management strategies, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and recovery expectations.
•Coordinate care with physicians, referring providers, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to support continuity of care.
•Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

Requirements

• Active NP or PA License
• At least 3 years of APP experience in pain management, interventional pain, orthopedics, spine, neurology, or a related specialty preferred
