About the Job The Associate Manager, Consolidations role is responsible for the overall periodic and quarterly consolidations of the operating results for the KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Habit and YUM Corp Divisions, including all EXT topside entries and equity analyses. In this role you will provide endless opportunities across the global Yum! business: serves as a subject matter expert on various critical system processes, supports period-end and quarterly reporting, working directly with the Yum! market teams and shared service centers (SSC’s), and requires collaboration with brand Control, External Reporting and IT teams. The Associate Manager, Consolidations, will report to the Consolidations Manager and have 1 direct report. Location: Louisville, KY (Hybrid). Office attendance required: Louisville, KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). Salary Range: $110,500- $125,000 plus bonus eligibility. (Salary determined by location, experience and other factors.) Responsibilities Period and Quarterly Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain EXT topsides during each close, manage topside listings to determine reinstatement or ensure proper pushdown of entries, complete equity model each period including reconciliations, prepare AOCI and equity footnotes for SEC disclosures, complete equity-related HFM dataforms. Commit extended workday hours and assist other team members during close and deadlines or crisis situations. Provide thought leadership around system updates and process controls to resolve potential issues and ensure smooth close. Provide coaching support and oversight to direct report. Serve as resource to brands, SSC’s and IT team for system-related questions and issues and assist SSC’s as needed. Responsible for annual requirements including KPMG audit fee compilation and R&D Survey completion. Partner with brands, SSC’s and IT teams to ensure year-end GL/FA roll is complete by P1. Perform SOX compliance duties and support internal and external audit efforts. Provide ongoing support for YUM and Brand initiatives and ad hoc requests. Assist with special projects, including financial analysis as needed. Qualifications B.S. in Accounting or B.S. in Finance (if significant accounting experience). 5+ years of public or private industry accounting experience. Strong Microsoft Excel experience and computer literacy skills. Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), FCCS, and JD Edwards. Public accounting firm or public company corporate accounting experience. CPA or active CPA candidate.
