Sanitation Worker

Pay: $24.35/hr

Shift: 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday (Saturdays as needed)

Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Maintains a clean, safe, and compliant food production environment by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, machines, and production areas. This role involves working with sanitation tools, chemicals, and basic equipment breakdown/reassembly while following strict food safety standards.

• Clean and sanitize equipment, production lines, and floors using power sprayers and sanitation tools
• Break down and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning
• Safely handle and apply sanitation chemicals following proper procedures
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and SSOP guidelines to maintain food safety standards
• Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and readiness for production
• Support audits, testing, and sanitation verification processes
• Work safely around machinery, conveyors, and wet surfaces
• Lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (standing, bending, reaching)
• Collaborate with a team to complete sanitation on schedule

• 1+ year of sanitation or food production experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of GMP and food safety practices
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
• Comfortable working in wet, fast-paced environments with strong odors
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Fast-paced food manufacturing setting with wet conditions, varying temperatures, and strong food odors. Requires standing for long periods and consistent physical activity. PPE required (hair net, smock, etc.). Team-based environment with hands-on training provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of AMERICAN CANYON, CA.

The pay range for this position is $24.35 - $24.35/hr.
