Vice President of Product

Role Description

TopDog Law is the fastest growing personal injury firm in the country. We’re building a modern platform to power every layer of how our firm operates and we’re looking for a VP of Product who can lead that charge. This is a player-coach role. You’ll own the product execution through a team of Technical Product Managers, and still get your hands dirty. You’ll report to senior leadership and work closely with our engineering org to deliver the systems that make national growth possible.

The platform we’re building is a custom AI-enabled Intake engine to replace Salesforce, a modern case management system to replace Filevine, and a client-facing portal for case status, messaging, and document sharing, etc. This is a greenfield opportunity to architect systems from the ground up. This role is for someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment, makes fast decisions with imperfect data, and cares deeply about building products people love to use.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in a product leadership role managing other PMs
• Proven track record shipping AI-powered or AI-integrated products
• Strong product intuition and eye for UX
• Experience driving large-scale platform migrations or greenfield builds
• Able to move fast and make decisions without perfect data
• No-ego, team-first leader who makes the people around them better
• Bias toward building, not just planning

Requirements

• Drives the build of a custom AI-enabled CRM that automates manual intake work and increases lead conversion
• Oversees the development of a client-facing portal that improves the client experience and reduces inbound service calls
• Manages the full migration away from Salesforce and Filevine into purpose-built, integrated internal tools
• Coaches and develops a team of Technical PMs to ship fast, build well, and stay aligned to firm goals
• Bridges the gap between product direction and engineering execution, keeping both sides moving in sync

Right now, we retain roughly 20% of the volume our marketing generates. The goal is 80%. The gap between those two numbers represents hundreds of millions of dollars and closing it is a product and operations problem. The VP of Product we hire will build the platform that makes this growth trajectory possible.
