Lead Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. The Lead Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt role performs end-to-end IT project management throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment with client goals, business strategies, and industry best practices while managing concurrent projects of varying complexity across multiple regions and functions. This resource will lead a project/program team to deliver solutions/products/platforms. This resource should be efficient in the Project Management discipline and viewed as the leader of overall project/program. This resource should be primary contact and liaison with the customer/client. This resource provides project/program management for the full end‑to‑end solution on complex cross‑functional programs that involve system/software, hardware and network development and/or migrations across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Rest of World (International). This resource works with the main customer/client (internal or external), any systems/vendors/stakeholders internal or external to AT&T, as well as local MNOs and vendors across the globe. Resource should have working experience and the ability to manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously that could range from several small projects to very large/complex projects with 50+ system/vendor/partner impacts. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, milestones, deliverables, resources, and timelines Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Oversee the project budget, driving alignment on allocations, forecasts and actuals Ensure that all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope, and within budget Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring regular communication and updates Manage relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and alignment with project goals Facilitate vertical alignment through presentations and artifacts for delivery to various levels of leadership, up to and including senior executives Risk Management Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues that may affect outcomes and implementing corrective actions as necessary Team Leadership Lead, motivate, and manage project teams to ensure high performance and successful project delivery Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment Quality Assurance Establish and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, risk registers, change management, and status reports Develop working knowledge of the overall solution to facilitate alignment, identify dependencies and interdependencies, and help drive risks and issues to closure Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards Required Skills and Expertise Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello). Familiarity with AT&T’s various Tech Dev and Network delivery teams & methodologies, with experience in related governance processes and applications (e.g., EnterpriseOne). Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. Strong written and oral communication skills. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. Customer service skills an asset. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or Agile certifications highly desired. 3‑5 years of direct work experience in project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution, preferably in telecommunications and specifically mobility. Experience working both independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Supervisor No Our Lead Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt earns between $130,700 – $196,100. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
