Multi-Family Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Picture the start of your day: you review new work orders, gather tools, and head out for a first pass of the community—checking common areas, listening for the telltale hiss of a leaking valve, and making sure residents wake up to a well‑kept, worry-free home. As our Multi-Family Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you’re the hands-on expert who keeps our residential community safe, comfortable, and running like clockwork.

A Day in the Life

Walk the property to spot issues early—everything from minor cosmetic fixes to systems that need attention.
Move seamlessly from a plumbing repair to an electrical troubleshooting call, then to HVAC checks and filter changes.
Address resident requests with urgency and courtesy, documenting each step for accurate, reliable records.
Coordinate with teammates to refresh vacant units so they’re move-in ready on schedule.
Double-check work to ensure it meets safety codes and community standards.

What You’ll Handle

Routine inspections across buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
General repairs in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Prompt responses to resident maintenance requests with excellent customer service.
Accurate documentation of maintenance activities, findings, and repairs.
Turnover support—prepping vacant units for incoming residents.
Strict adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
Collaboration with the maintenance team to enhance appearance and functionality of the property.

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
Demonstrated experience in residential maintenance or a closely related trade.
Solid working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Resourceful troubleshooting skills and an ability to resolve issues efficiently.
Clear, professional communication and a resident-first approach.
Comfort working solo or side-by-side with a team.
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Willingness to be on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
