Northrop GrummanCorporate Office is seeking a Senior Human Resources Director supporting the Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) and our Strategy & Technology (S&T) Office. This position preferred to be located in Falls Church, VA , but must be located near an existing major Northrop Grumman facility within the continental United States. This is not a remote position. The HR Director serves as a strategic business partner providing day-to-daysupport to the CO Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and other corporate leaders in accomplishment of business objectives. The primary function of the role is to be a strategic partner and consultant to the business toensure we havea human capital strategy in placeto attract, engage, develop and retain the talent necessaryto meet thestrategicgoals of the businessfor today and for the future. The selected candidate will lead a team of HR business partners responsible for executing the HR strategy and will lead human capital programs and core processesincluding but not limited totalent acquisition, talent assessment and development, performance management, employee relation, total rewards, succession planning and talent pipeline development, organization effectiveness andleadershipdevelopment. The person in this role is responsible for leading enterprise-wide transformative projects and initiative requiring strategic thought leadership, organizational and project management skills in a high paced environment, ability to influence stakeholders at all levels,strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.Successful candidates will have a strategic mindset, tolerance of ambiguity and strength in building relationships and driving business outcomes. This role interfaces heavily in work around our AI & technology roadmaps so the preferred candidate will welcome the opportunity to learn about and think critically on these topics. Candidate mustdemonstrate executive level communication skills, ability tocollaborate with senior executive leaders, ability to leverage data and analytics to drive business outcomes and a results-oriented focus aligned to our business goals, leadership behaviors, and values. Key Leadership Traits Unwavering ethics and values; trusted advisor and partner to leadership and employees, with a lens towards enhancing business and employee growth and the employee experience Strong collaborator and relationship-builder; focused on organizational and team success Courageous; takes risks in ideas and actions Not satisfied with status quo; proactivelyidentifiestrends, risks, and opportunities, regularly advocates for improvements, and change and embraces ambiguity Excellent business acumen Leverages HR processes,toolsand data/data analytics to accelerate business results Strong people leader and manager, aligned with our leadership behaviors Focused on business outcomes and comfortable using qualitative and quantitative data to inform recommendations and decisions Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degreerequiredplus a minimum of 12years of progressive experience in HRORMaster’s degree and10years of progressive experience in HR Experience across multiple HR disciplines Experience leading HR teams Experience designing and leading change management efforts Experience designing and implementing human capital strategies aligned to business strategy, with clear business outcomes Excellent verbal and written communication skills;demonstratedability to effectively communicate with and influence others at all levels Strong project management and problem-solving skills Adaptability and resilience; able to change course when needed and operate in an ambiguous environment Previousexperience developing and implementing organization effectiveness strategies and approaches, implementing organization design and/or organization transformations Preferred Qualifications Previousexperience in Aerospace & Defense Experience leading a team as a Human Resources Director responsible for multiple HR disciplines Proficiencywith HRIS platforms and technology (e.Workday) Experience working in a matrix environment Primary Level Salary Range: $190,100.00 - $330,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
