Nuclear Engineer for AI Model Training

Nuclear engineers can apply their expertise to enhance AI models through a flexible, remote, part-time role. This position allows professionals to evaluate AI outputs related to their field, providing structured feedback that improves the model''s understanding of nuclear engineering tasks and terminology. The program operates year-round, with various project opportunities available periodically. Key Responsibilities
- Develop prompts for AI models that accurately reflect nuclear engineering practices.
- Evaluate AI responses and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Engage in independent work, with flexible hours averaging between 5 to 20 hours per week.
- Contribute to the advancement of AI applications within the nuclear engineering field.
- Participate in projects as they become available, with no minimum commitment required.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in nuclear engineering or related fields, including:
- Designing or developing nuclear equipment, such as reactor cores and radiation shielding.
- Monitoring nuclear facility operations for safety compliance.
- Initiating corrective actions or managing emergency plant shutdowns.
- Examining accidents to inform preventive measures.
- Directing operations or maintenance activities to ensure efficiency and safety standards.
- Writing operational instructions and preparing technical reports based on analyses.
- Conducting environmental studies related to nuclear power generation and waste disposal.
- Staying updated on developments in the nuclear field through research and technical literature.
- Ability to collaborate asynchronously with leading AI labs.
- Remote and asynchronous work environment.
- Flexible hours with no minimum commitment.
Up to $80/hr (depending on the project).
EligibilityF-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects. Consult with your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
