This position will stage materials at production lines to increase production efficiencies and reduce machine downtime. The Material Handler will work closely with Production and Shipping.2nd Shift works Monday-Thursday; 1:45pm-11:45pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Move stock to production lines to ensure continuous run of the machines. Notify Inventory Control Specialist when stock is running low. Move incoming materials to proper storage location. Receive finished product from production and assist with staging for shipment. Assist with loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves. Verify quantity and labels for accuracy. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Attach identifying labels or tags to materials for inventory, shipment and work in production. Decide how overs are being handled. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Operate the company delivery truck; Conduct inspections of vehicle before departure Complete logs and report Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Two (2) years previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing setting. Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and forklift. Working knowledge of MS Office applications. Must be able to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents.
