Repair Coordinator

Coordinates the repair of industrial rotating equipment including pumps, blowers, and vacuum compressors from the proposal through completion. Develop repair proposals based on customer requirements, operating conditions, and industry standards while managing repair schedules to meet delivery expectations. Collaborate with Sales, Production Management, Supervisors, and craft personnel to plan and execute repairs. Routinely communicate with internal and external customers regarding status, changes, and improvement opportunities. Requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a general knowledge of industrial rotating equipment repair. Receive phone calls and emails from external & internal customers which must be handled on a timely basis. Information handled will typically include RFQ’s, technical assistance/support, equipment manufacturer support, technical product support, delivery expediting, etc. Manage multiple project inquiries and project quotations Facilitate customer application requirements for their assembly, sizing and product selection Understand and ensure that the JHC TCC (Total Customer Commitment) standards are upheld at all times Actively and enthusiastically attend required and preferred training Participate in an after-hours and weekend ‘On-Call’ rotation Actively and enthusiastically support JHC colleagues at all times, and especially when overload situations arise Accurately complete quotes, order entry and purchase orders Always build and cultivate solid relationships Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times, regardless of location Some travel may be required Education and/or Work Experience A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred Experience in an industrial environment – preferably an industrial internship In the absence of a degree, experience in a similar role in the chemical, petrochemical, refining or oil & gas industries may be considered A non-degreed candidate with a high mechanical aptitude may be considered **Please note that this role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship/assistance at this time. #J-18808-Ljbffr John H.
