Role Description The Benefits Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for advising employers on voluntary and group benefit solutions, explaining coverage options, and helping clients select plans that align with their organizational goals. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, conducting needs assessments, preparing proposals, and delivering presentations on Chubb Benefits products. The Benefits Advisor will support enrollment activities, respond to client inquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing service. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of benefits trends, insurance regulations, and Chubb offerings to provide accurate guidance and training to employer groups. Qualifications Strong knowledge of employee benefits and experience designing or advising on benefit programs. Insurance-related skills, including familiarity with voluntary benefits, group coverage, and regulatory considerations. Customer service skills with the ability to build relationships, address concerns, and provide clear guidance to employers and employees. Training skills to conduct benefit education sessions, enrollment meetings, and product overviews for employer groups. Sales skills to identify opportunities, present solutions, and support the growth of Chubb Benefits in the Baton Rouge market. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing onsite client visits and remote responsibilities effectively. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client engagements and deadlines. Previous experience in benefits consulting, insurance brokerage, or HR benefits administration preferred. Life and Health Insurance license required for this role.
