Accounting Analyst (Accounts Payable)

Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement procedures to support the market and transmission settlement process. * Identify improvements to settlement procedures and software to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. * Navigate the steps of invoice verification, coding, and processing, and ensure alignment with the company’s policies and procedures. * Independently ensuring accurate and efficient issuance of year-end tax documents to suppliers * Manage travel and expense reimbursements What we are looking for:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/finance.
- Preferably familiar with electric utility industry accounting practices.
- Familiarity with computer accounting systems, preferably Oracle.
- Preferably experienced with Concur Solutions.
