On-site in New York City, this Art Director role helps shape and deliver creative work across platforms while guiding a team toward strong, brand-aligned outcomes. Role overview In this on-site NYC position, you will conceptualize, design, and execute creative concepts across multiple channels. The focus is on aligning visuals with brand identity and communication objectives, turning abstract ideas into clear, effective visual solutions. Responsibilities Develop and communicate a creative vision that reflects the brand's identity and resonates with target audiences Lead and mentor a team of designers with guidance, feedback, and an environment that supports collaboration and innovation Partner with cross-functional teams to build creative concepts and design strategies tied to marketing, branding, and communication goals Translate abstract ideas into concrete visual solutions that communicate key messages effectively Maintain consistent, cohesive visual branding across print, digital, social media, and other touchpoints Contribute to the evolution of the brand's visual identity to keep it relevant and engaging Create high-quality design materials, including graphics, layouts, illustrations, and digital assets Oversee production to protect design integrity, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications Coordinate with marketing, copywriting, and other teams to integrate visual and written communication elements Clearly articulate design concepts and rationale to internal stakeholders and clients Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to bring fresh ideas into creative work Integrate innovative design elements that strengthen visual impact Review and approve design deliverables for quality, creativity, and consistency Provide constructive feedback to support team skill development and improved execution Requirements 10 years post-college experience at a design firm, studio, or marketing firm Proven experience as an Art Director (or similar) with a robust portfolio covering diverse design work High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and an advantage from motion graphics software familiarity Strong design fundamentals including design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition Leadership experience to inspire and guide a creative team toward outstanding results Ability to handle large volumes of technical information, including file management, research, layout and design, creative mood boards, and strong typography #J-18808-Ljbffr
