Middle Office Analyst-Private Credit

Private Credit Operations Associate | Private Markets | New York, NY A leading global investment firm is seeking an experienced Private Credit Operations Associate to join its Private Debt and Credit Alternatives (PDCA) Operations team. This role will provide operational support across private market funds and mandates, partnering closely with investment teams, service providers, legal, compliance, and external counterparties. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in middle office operations, private markets, credit, or fund operations and will be responsible for ensuring accurate transaction execution, strong operational controls, and efficient processes across a growing private investment platform. What You’ll Do: Middle Office Operations & Transaction Support Provide oversight and quality control across middle office processes supporting private credit investments Manage relationships with internal and external service providers, including reviewing service levels and operational performance Support the execution of new private transactions, including due diligence, documentation, and operational onboarding Coordinate KYC requirements, subscription documentation, and counterparty due diligence for new and existing investments Partner with investment, legal, operations, and external counterparties on funding mechanics, settlements, and post-close operational handoffs Support loan administration activities, including capital return processes, income bookings, and loan lifecycle events Valuation, Pricing & Performance Oversight Support fair value pricing processes by coordinating valuation inputs, reviewing supporting documentation, and tracking approvals Review performance data, private credit reporting outputs, and portfolio analytics prior to distribution to stakeholders Assist with benchmark setup and reference data management to support reporting processes Data Management & Reporting Maintain accurate records across internal systems and ensure strong data governance practices Generate recurring and ad hoc reports supporting operational controls and data accuracy Help enhance reporting processes, systems, and operational workflows Risk Management & Process Improvement Identify operational risks and support initiatives to strengthen controls and compliance processes Partner with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk, and enhance middle office processes Support system enhancements, new product launches, and operating model improvements Stakeholder Management Serve as a key point of contact for middle office-related questions and operational matters Build strong relationships with investment teams, operations partners, service providers, and internal stakeholders Provide training and support related to operational processes and systems What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; accounting qualification is a plus 3–5+ years of experience in middle office operations, private markets, fund operations, audit, or accounting Strong understanding of public and private market products and investment operations Experience supporting private credit, direct lending, structured credit, or alternative investments is preferred Proficiency with middle/back-office systems; experience with platforms such as Aladdin, eFront, or similar systems is a plus Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data management tools Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while keeping senior stakeholders informed #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlas Search
