Registered Nurse Operating Room
The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room specialty. The position requires circulating for a diverse range of surgical cases. Patient care is provided in a Level 1 trauma center environment. The nurse will have a 1:1 patient ratio. Weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs. The ability to float between like units is necessary. This role does not require on-call duties. Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory. Candidates must have the ability to perform various surgical procedures. 10 days of time-off requests are permitted during the assignment. Specific blackout periods for time-off requests will apply. Travelers must have previous experience in a trauma setting. Emergent craniotomy circulating experience is crucial. This position may require flexibility in floating to other units. Candidates should be adaptable to the scheduling needs of the unit. Completion of facility-specific modules is essential. Daily census in the unit averages 90-110 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available for patient care. All applicants must meet the specified requirements upon submission. Consideration will be given based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
