Event Manager - Boston

Part‑time On‑site Event Manager – Candlelight Concerts BOSTON, Massachusetts – Responsible for managing on‑site operations for Fever’s Candlelight concerts. Responsibilities Serve as main point of contact on‑site for Candlelight events and staff; communicate directly with Fever Originals manager. Maintain staff roster, set schedule, and coordinate rescheduling with staffing agency. Ensure all staff are trained to validate tickets, seat guests, and set up candles. Drive or arrange transport of event supplies to and from venues; transport costs are not compensated. Manage inventory and supplies; handle any printing needs. Maintain guest lists for all events. Deliver opening and closing remarks, including recorded speech or public speaking when required. Report weekly to Fever Originals Project Managers with pre‑ and post‑event findings and feedback. Assist with evaluating potential venues and walk‑throughs. Represent Fever and Candlelight brands through professional communication and management; act as main customer service representative. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in event management or equivalent degree. Interest and passion for live music and event organization. Exceptional customer service skills. Experience leading an on‑site team. Strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a pressured environment. Knowledge of AV and PA systems (desirable). Personal laptop required; driver’s license strongly preferred. Schedule & Pay Contract: 6 months, starting ASAP. Shows run weekly; shift times vary from 4–8 hours/day. Maximum 29 hours per week; may work certain holidays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas). Rate: $25/hour. Hiring Process 30‑minute video call with local Project Manager/Producer.
