If you are a CPA looking to improve your situation email Jim Meade at Robert Half right away or connect with me on LinkedIn.Responsibilities:• Review Job Costing to ensure GAAP compliance.• Compare actual performance with anticipated results, making necessary financial amendments as required.• Compile audit paperwork when needed.• Examine periodic job cost reports, spot check cost activities, create budgets and semi-annual forecasts, and discern variances.• Communicate with project managers to troubleshoot issues and enhance decision-making process.• Manage and direct the operations of the accounting team, serving as a mentor to develop their abilities and foster professional progression.• Work alongside project management to gather estimates and distribute prompt monitoring reports to project managers and other corporate leaders.• Ensure adherence to GAAP, firm policies, and contractual obligations.• Oversee a reliable internal control system.
