Accounting Manager

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a well-established, family-owned commercial construction organization to identify an Accounting Manager for its Baltimore headquarters. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers significant visibility across the organization and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll oversight, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly general ledger accounting close-out including account reconciliations and G/L analysis.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly reporting packages.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and related journal entries.
• Weekly payroll reporting and oversight as well as monthly and quarterly payroll reports.
• Oversite and preparation of monthly customer invoicing.
• Oversite of Accounts Receivable.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant or related experience.
• Working knowledge of Foundation construction accounting software or a similar accounting financial package.
