DoubleTree Houston at The Galleria 5353 Westheimer Rd Houston, TX 77056, USA Description DoubleTree Hotel & Suites by the Galleria, located in the upscale Galleria area is looking for an experienced, hands‑on Executive Housekeeper with strong leadership and organizational skills. Required Skills and Abilities At least four (4) years of previous full‑service hotel housekeeping management experience. Flexible to work AM, mid‑shift, PM, weekends, and holidays. Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively address and resolve employee and guest related issues. Previous Hilton brand experience highly desired. Job Responsibilities Hands‑on management to manage daily operations for housekeeping and laundry. Interview, hire, train, and provide open communication and support for all housekeeping and laundry staff. Enforce policies and procedures and hold staff accountable when performance expectations are not met. Manage department finances, including budget, inventory and labor. Review guest surveys, respond to unfavorable feedback and implement strategic plans to exceed brand cleanliness requirements. Inspect building cleanliness including guest rooms, corridors, guest lobby and employee areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained.
