Requirements

• 2+ years RN experience in a large urban hospital
• First-time travelers not accepted (exception: 2+ years Level I Academic Medical Center)
• BLS required | ACLS preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Drip experience required
• 100+ mile radius – locals not accepted
• Travel experience required
• 100% nicotine-free facility

Clinical Skills

• MS/Tele & Cardiac Telemetry
• Dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Rapid Response/Code experience
• IV therapy & peripheral lines
• Oxygen & non-invasive airway management
• Cardiac drips (no titration)

Required Drips: Nitro, Heparin, Insulin (non-DKA)
May encounter: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Argatroban, Bivalirudin, Lasix

Schedule / Requirements

• Travelers are first to float within scope
• May float to Bellevue Medical Center (16 min away)
• 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks
• Work 2 of 3 major holidays

Facility

• 718-bed acute-care teaching hospital
• Units include MS/Tele, PCU, Cardiac, Transplant, Neuro, Trauma & Oncology
• Steele Gray Nebraska Medicine scrubs required
