About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior experience required in a large, urban hospital License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required Must be prepared to float frequently to meet staffing needs. RNs will be assigned to a unit based on their experience. Travelers may be assigned to different campuses as needed. Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the winter season. This facility has a strict no nicotine policy. All travelers must comply with the COVID-19 vaccine requirement. Candidates should possess skills in cardiac telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, and peripheral line care. Fluency in isolation precautions and the use of rapid response or code teams is expected. Experience in managing cardiac drips is required. Daily patient ratios are 5-6 for days and 6 for nights. Interdisciplinary support includes various teams such as IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. All contracts are expected to conclude on Sundays, and the work week runs from Monday to Sunday. Travelers are not accepted from local areas within a certain distance from the facility. First-time travelers will not be accepted unless they have prior experience at a Level 1 Academic Medical Center. Relevant lab work must be submitted promptly after accepting an offer. This facility promotes a smoke-free environment for all staff and patients.
