Based near Newark, OH, this full-time position (32.5 hours per week) begins August 17, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027. You’ll collaborate with fellow educators in co-taught classrooms, making a meaningful impact on two high school campuses.

Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Ohio Intervention Specialist credential (required)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and co-teaching models
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction for high school students in a co-taught setting
• Participate actively in planning and delivering engaging lessons alongside general education teachers
• Adapt curriculum to support students with varying learning challenges
• Develop, monitor, and document progress on IEP goals
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Engage regularly with families and support staff to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate and confidential records as required by school and district policy
