Corporate / Sponsor Finance Associate Attorney AmLaw 50 Opportunity Compensation$310,000 – $450,000+
A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate / Sponsor Finance Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, lenders, and corporate borrowers in sophisticated acquisition financings, leveraged finance transactions, and sponsor-backed deals.
Ideal Background• 3–6 years of finance, leveraged finance, sponsor finance, or corporate transactional experience
• Experience representing private equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, or portfolio companies preferred
• Experience with acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth financings
• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment papers, security agreements, and related transaction documents
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Experience at a large law firm finance or corporate practice preferred
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
