What You Bring Bachelors degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education (Masters preferred) Current Educator Certification in DHH (required) Proficiency in American Sign Language, with demonstration during the interview Experience teaching either Math or Core English Track record as a collaborative, adaptable educator References and copies of certifications/licenses available for submission What Youll Be Doing Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction to elementary, middle, or high school students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Modify and differentiate lessons in Math or Core English to meet individual student needs Facilitate communication in the classroom using ASL and support language development Collaborate with support staff, specialists, and families to ensure holistic student support Maintain clear, consistent documentation and participate in IEP/504 meetings Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students Travel to assigned school locations within the district, as needed The district will begin reviewing candidates from mid- to late-May, so its the perfect time to prepare your credentials for consideration.
