Responsibilities will involve teaching math, core English courses, and collaborating closely with fellow teachers and specialists. Desired Qualifications Bachelors degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education required; Masters degree preferred Valid Educator Certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) ASL proficiency will be assessed during the interview Experience teaching academic subjects such as math and English to students with hearing differences Ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families Strong references and up-to-date professional certifications, ready to submit upon request Key Responsibilities Provide direct instruction in both mathematics and core English subjects Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment for students from elementary to high school Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet students individualized needs Communicate regularly with families and support staff Participate in professional development and IEP meetings as required Why consider this role?
