Assembler

Description: Location: Aurora, IL
Shift: 6am - 2:30pm
Pay: 20.00 per hour

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. This position supports the production department, performing hands-on tasks in a small assembly area-including mechanical assembly and silkscreen printing. This is an entry level position with great growth potential for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Area Duties :
• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of components and products.
• Operate silkscreen equipment to apply labels and markings to parts.
• Use PEM insertion tools to install fasteners into sheet metal and other materials.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, silk-screening, and PEM insertion equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
• Combination of production floor and warehouse environment.
• Use of PPE and adherence to safety standards required. Safety glasses required and no food or drink on the production floor
