Work Environment\n

As a member of our remote team, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while still actively engaging with clients through virtual platforms. Your primary setting will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, counselors, and other social workers. You will have opportunities for direct interaction with clients via teletherapy and regular check-ins to support their journey toward recovery. Our work hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of clients at the Detox Center, considering emotional, mental, and social factors impacting their recovery.

• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, catering to specific addiction recovery goals.

• Provide empathetic counseling and emotional support to clients, assisting them in navigating the often-challenging transitions associated with detoxification and recovery.

• Advocate passionately for clients' rights, ensuring access to necessary community resources and sustained support beyond detox.

• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care amongst nurses, healthcare professionals, and family members to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

• Perform regular virtual and in-person visits to monitor clients' progress, assess their living environments, and address any immediate safety or health concerns.

• Assist in conflict resolution among family members, facilitating effective and supportive communication essential for the client’s recovery process.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about available community resources, support programs, and strategies for improved social engagement and overall quality of life.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of client assessments, care plans, and progress notes using our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure all client interactions are tracked meticulously.

• Stay informed about the latest social work practices, substance use intervention strategies, and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and the highest standard of care.

This role specifically addresses the needs of individuals experiencing substance use disorders in a Detox Center, often presenting complex psychosocial issues. As a Social Worker in this setting, you will work closely with clients who are not only dealing with addiction but may also be managing co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from a COA-accredited program.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
