Case Manager/Paralegal

Job Description Job Description A litigation-focused law firm in Houston is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Case Manager to support attorneys through all phases of case development and litigation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has proven experience working within a legal setting. Key Responsibilities: * Manage litigation case files from intake through resolution, ensuring deadlines and court requirements are consistently met. * Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining timely and professional communication. * Coordinate scheduling of hearings, depositions, meetings, and other case-related events. * Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, correspondence, and discovery materials. * Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including compiling exhibits, witness lists, and case summaries. * Track case progress, monitor calendars, and update internal systems to reflect current status. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date case information. * Utilize legal software and case management systems to streamline workflows and maintain accurate records. Required Qualifications: * Prior experience working i, preferably within plaintiff personal injury litigation, is required. * Familiarity with legal software or case management platforms is a huge plus. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and support staff.
