Launch or elevate your sales career with Group 1 Automotive. We're hiring Automotive Sales Professionals for our Tulsa-area locations, including South Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, South Pointe Honda, South Pointe Chevrolet, and BMW of Tulsa.

We're looking for driven, customer-focused individuals who are passionate about helping people and achieving exceptional results. Previous automotive experience is welcomed but not required. Successful candidates often come from retail, hospitality, customer service, and other high-performing sales environments.

As an Automotive Sales Professional, you'll help customers navigate one of their most important purchasing decisions. You'll build lasting relationships, showcase vehicle features, conduct test drives, and provide a seamless, customer-first buying experience from initial contact through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through every step of the vehicle-buying journey, from initial consultation and product selection to test drives and vehicle delivery.
• Build rapport and establish trust by understanding customer needs and recommending the best vehicle, financing, and protection options.
• Showcase vehicle features, technology, performance, and benefits while effectively differentiating products from competing brands.
• Proactively generate new business through prospecting, lead follow-up, referrals, and community networking opportunities.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business, customer loyalty, and referrals.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that consistently achieves high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
• Maintain expert knowledge of vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, financing programs, and industry trends.
• Utilize dealership CRM tools and follow-up processes to effectively manage leads, appointments, and customer communications.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual sales goals while contributing to overall dealership performance and success.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience (automotive experience is a plus, not required)
• Strong motivation to succeed in a commission‑driven, performance‑based environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude with a high‑energy, customer‑focused approach
• Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
• Self‑motivated, proactive mindset with a strong work ethic
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license for the state of employment and a good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR), and drug screening
