About the Role

The VP, FP&A will act as the CFO’s primary strategic thought partner, responsible for defining and building a best‑in‑class, tech‑enabled FP&A function in a fast‑scaling, operationally complex environment. Located in office at our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida, this leader will transform our financial planning from a spreadsheet‑driven function into a scalable, tech‑first decision engine capable of supporting aggressive growth across capital‑intensive assets.

In this role, you will own the architectural design of our operational finance, balancing an operator’s mindset with public company discipline. Your core mission is to establish a high‑credibility FP&A function trusted by executives, investors, and the board. This includes proactively designing financial frameworks for data center expansion economics, optimizing cost structures against volatile energy markets, and modernizing our infrastructure to automate real‑time dashboards and predictive scenario modeling. Ultimately, you will turn FP&A into a distinct competitive advantage for capital allocation, infrastructure scaling, and corporate profitability.

About You

We are looking for a veteran finance leader and strategic operator with at least 10 years of experience managing complex financial portfolios within capital‑intensive sectors such as energy, digital infrastructure, utilities, or power generation. You are an executive who is equally comfortable in the intricate details of a financial model as you are leading cross‑functional teams and presenting high‑impact strategic recommendations to C‑suite stakeholders and board members.

Qualifications and Traits

• 10+ years of progressive professional experience with a heavy emphasis on corporate FP&A, capital deployment, and financial engineering for large‑scale assets.
• Expert‑level financial modeling and underwriting discipline with an obsession for data fidelity, rigorous model governance, and delivering audit‑ready, institutional‑grade outputs.
• Deep tech fluency and automation expertise with a proven track record of replacing manual, spreadsheet‑heavy processes with advanced data analytics and automated decision‑support tools.
• A builder and team multiplier who can seamlessly transition a finance team from descriptive reporting into highly specialized strategic domain experts.
