As a Team Lead, you'll be at the center of the action, guiding team members, supporting daily operations, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. You'll help train and develop employees, maintain food quality and safety standards, and keep the restaurant running smoothly during busy travel periods.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading by example and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed, whether that's assisting guests, preparing food, managing inventory, resolving issues, or supporting the team during peak business hours. Your leadership will help create a positive team culture, drive operational success, and ensure guests leave with a great impression of both our restaurant and San Antonio International Airport. They make sure team members perform a variety of tasks, from preparing food, stocking supplies, serving, and cleaning tables and counters, resetting/bussing tables, greeting guests and answering questions. • Must be proficient in each area of the restaurant to assist when necessary.
• Follow inventory control procedures to reduce product loss.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Prepare food when necessary.
• Check food quality and temperatures throughout the day to ensure food safety expectations are maintained.
• Ensure the security and safety of guests and team members through pro-actively following proper sanitation and safety procedures.
• Follow proper procedures and guidelines for opening and closing the restaurant.
• Identify back-ups in the kitchen and work with managers to re-organize when necessary.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to getting the job done.
