Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $3,150 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse in a high-volume, high-acuity setting. This role involves providing specialized care during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a fast-paced environment supporting both obstetric and neonatal patients. Candidates will function in the role of Baby Nurse during deliveries and continue caring for newborns until transfer to postpartum, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and patient safety. Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week, beginning on 09/07/2026 and ending on 12/07/2026. Required Qualifications: 3 years of experience in high acuity and high volume Labor and Delivery environments, current valid license (compact license accepted), BLS certification, and NRP certification. Preferred Qualifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate certifications. Float: Float to sister facilities supporting Mother/Baby services may be required. Additional Information: Must have prior experience with electronic fetal monitoring, ADPIEC (Assessment, dilation, Pitocin, I/U, Effacement, Contractions), and neonatal care including eyes, thighs, assessment, and IV management. Candidates will assist with high risk deliveries, including interventions like amnioinfusion, forceps, vacuum extraction, and manage postpartum hemorrhage. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in sterile vaginal exams, neonatal resuscitation, and administering medications such as magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, and insulin drips.
