Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialty position located in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing advanced cardiovascular surgical support in a short-term acute care facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of consecutive experience in cardiovascular surgery, current Compact license in hand at submission, BLS (Basic Life Support), CST (Certified Surgical Technologist), and NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification.
• Skills: Expertise in Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Angioplasty/stenting, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortobifemoral bypass, Aortocaval fistula repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Arteriovenous malformation surgery, Aseptic Technique, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Care of scopes & fiber optic equipment, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Case Cart, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR), Hybrid OR procedures, Lung resection via Thoracotomy, Mitral valve replacement, Organ donation, Pericardial window, Renal artery bypass surgery, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), VEIN stripping, and more.
• Additional Information: Candidates must commit to working three of the five holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience prior to start. References covering the last three years and two in number are required. Candidates should have never worked previously at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, travel contract, or registry/per-diem.
