Floor Technician

Saint Luke's Hospital, our Plaza location is currently seeking a Floor Technician to be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all floor surfaces including hard surfaces and carpeted areas. As a member of the Environmental Services Department you will be instrumental to timely service, product quality safety and sanitation standards are met. Shift Details:

• Full time Position
• Shift Times - 6:00PM - 2:30AM
• Work Week – Monday to Friday
• Rotating Weekends (every other weekend)
• Rotating Holidays

The Work:

• Responsible for cleaning, spot removal, buffing, and burnishing floor surfaces
• Other tasks include but are not limited to cleaning and disinfecting public and patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices removing trash, wiping surfaces and other tasks related to cleaning
• Fills in for staff when needed
• Handles customer complaints
• Follows policies, procedures and safety practices applicable to chemicals and equipment
• Conducts interactions in a professional manner
• Safe operation of mechanical floor equipment is required.
• May be required to move equipment and furnishings in the process of performing tasks.
