Position Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, screening, and placing qualified candidates for available staffing positions. The Recruiter will work closely with clients and internal management to understand hiring needs, maintain a strong candidate pipeline, and ensure employees are successfully placed and supported throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified candidates for warehouse, logistics, general labor, forklift, administrative, and other open positions.
• Post and maintain job advertisements on Indeed and other recruiting platforms.
• Review applications, resumes, and candidate qualifications.
• Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
• Verify candidate availability, work history, qualifications, and employment eligibility.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screening, and other required pre-employment requirements.
• Schedule candidates for orientations, interviews, and client assignments.
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee records.
• Communicate job details, schedules, pay rates, attendance expectations, and workplace policies to candidates.
• Follow up with new employees after placement to ensure they successfully report to work.
• Conduct daily check-ins with new starts and address attendance or assignment issues.
• Work with clients to fill open positions quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Communicate with employees regarding schedule changes, absences, timekeeping, and assignment-related questions.
• Assist with employee retention by maintaining regular communication with placed employees.
• Document recruiting activity, interviews, placements, and employee communications.
• Meet recruiting and placement goals established by management.
• Perform other recruiting and staffing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting for warehouse or logistics positions is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interview and evaluate candidates effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to use Indeed, email, applicant tracking systems, and other recruiting tools.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Key Performance Expectations

• Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Respond quickly to client staffing requests.
• Maintain strong communication with candidates and placed employees.
• Reduce no-shows and early turnover through proper screening and follow-up.
• Ensure new employees understand their assignment before starting work.
• Provide management with timely updates regarding recruiting activity and staffing needs.

Work Environment

This position may require working in an office, visiting client locations, attending job fairs, conducting onsite recruiting, and communicating with candidates by phone, text, email, and recruiting platforms.

Compensation

Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and company compensation structure. Additional incentives or commissions may be available based on company policy.
