Primary Patient Population:

• Telemetry
• Mixed Disease Process

Primary Skills Utilized/Learned:

• Cardiac monitoring (EKG's)
• Blood glucose monitoring, Bladder scans, taking vital signs
• Intake and Output & ADL's

Personnel RN Will Work With:

• LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, WOCN, Social Work, Case Management

Number Of Beds On Unit:

• 24 beds

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as a STNA is optional after employment in this position).
• 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
