divh2Special Events Coordinator/h2pSpecial Events Coordinator is an On-Call position and holds the responsibility to assist with various property/marketing functions in the Las Vegas region and may be called in for general office duties. Coordinators are the customer service representatives of this department. We take pride in making sure our guests have a great experience while participating in an invitational event. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental procedures, practices, and policies./ph3How You Will Create the Extraordinary/h3ulliCreate an atmosphere of fun and excitement for guests./liliDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment, maintain positive working relationships, and remain composed and professional in all situations./liliAssists Special Events team with the execution of invitational events and promotions./liliDisplay a professional demeanor and willingness to assist guests./liliConstantly seek ways to improve friendly and helpful service and reduce guests waiting time to positively impact departments guest service ratings./liliEnsure integrity and confidentiality of all guests data. Comply with all state, federal and regulatory policies, and procedures./liliDeliver and pick up items to and from other properties when necessary./liliComply with Responsible Gaming guidelines outlined by Caesars Entertainment and complete annual refresher training./liliPerform all other job-related duties as requested./li/ulh3What You Will Need/h3ulliPrevious customer service experience with the proven ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers./liliMust be able to work any day of the week, on any shift, including long hours and holidays when necessary./liliAbility to organize and maintain a wide variety of activities in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment./liliMust be able to keep aware of the constant changes and enhancements of events and promotions./liliDemonstrated ability to multi-task effectively, adapt quickly to changing business needs, and work respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds and perspectives./liliMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand English./liliBasic computer skills with software systems to include IBM, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe are required./liliMust be at least 21 years of age and eligible to obtain a Gaming Sheriffs Card./liliMust comply with companys appearance standards./li/ulpstrongAdditional Qualifications /strong/pulliMust be able to move in and around the Casino/Hotel areas and other special event promotion locations the entire shift./liliMust have manual dexterity to be able to operate the following equipment: computer, telephone, photocopy machine, fax machine, ten key, printer and video poker/slot machines./liliMust be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke./liliMust be able to stand and walk for long periods./liliMust be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a desk./liliMust be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds./liliRespond to visual and aural cues./liliMay work outdoors./liliThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
