Commercial Property Accountant

Signature Associates is looking for a Property Accountant to handle full-cycle accounting for a diverse commercial portfolio - medical, office, industrial, retail, residential, and mixed-use - plus corporate office assignments. Based in our Southfield office. What you'll do: Own monthly close for assigned properties: accruals, AJEs, bank reconciliations, and operating reports delivered to client specifications Manage cash flow across multiple properties, including AP timing and weekly invoice approval Process receipts, tenant ledgers, and non-recurring charge batches in Yardi Reconcile tenant, vendor, and general ledger accounts, and maintain supporting schedules Abstract leases and maintain tenant records in Yardi - charge and recovery schedules, clauses, and options Assist with annual operating budgets and manage the external audit process Work directly with clients and deliver a high level of service What you bring: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional accounting experience Strong general ledger knowledge and the ability to construct financial statements Excel proficiency and comfort working across multiple accounting platforms Excellent communication and client service skills Competitive compensation and great benefits, in-office role with some schedule flexibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
