Compensation Details $18.00–$22.00 Benefits Weekly Pay Paid Time Off Programs (incl. vacation, paid sick time, holiday pay). Newly hired full‑time employees will receive a one‑time pro‑rated allocation of up to 24 hours of vacation in their first calendar year depending on the month of hire. Job Description Position: Loss Prevention Officer Responsibilities Oversees, observes, and supervises employees entering and exiting the building. Walks through and around the exterior of the entire facility conducting safety, hazard, and security audits. Continually monitors the hazard materials storeroom and cleans up spills. Oversees and supervises the disposition of damaged items, loads items onto push carts, and moves them to a safe location. Walks throughout the facility and conducts general investigations, inventory counts, and cycle counts. Uses computers and office equipment. Reads standard operating procedures, hears fire/security alarms and phone signals, and monitors CCTV. Provides training to other employees. Performs housekeeping duties, keeps floors clean, and keeps work areas neat and tidy. Requirements Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment, and safe lifting techniques as determined by the role. Be an active participant in contributing to a successful safety culture in the facility. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Demonstrated ability and willingness to work non‑traditional shifts and hours. Experience with CCTV preferred. Degree in Criminal Justice or 3‑5 years of practical experience in security, loss prevention, or law‑enforcement field preferred. Ability to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, swing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification through company‑provided training.
