Mail Processing Clerk

Responsible for opening, sorting and distribution of incoming mail, including packing and shipping of outgoing mail through internal and external vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare documents for shipping with materials provided by various vendors
• Maintain open lines of vendor communication
• Ship materials using UPS and FedEx software systems
• Scan, index, upload paperwork documentation
• Understand and meet expectations of Production, Support and Management Team(s)
• Follows all company and department policies and procedures
• Keep lines of communication open between vendors
• Utilize proprietary hardware and software
• Punctual and regular attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred

Work Environment

Professional office work environment. Occasionally required to sit for long hours, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.

Physical Demand

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
