Our vision is to build a full-scale sports agency that represents athletes from the amateur and collegiate levels through professional competition. We are developing our baseball division and seeking an experienced, motivated individual who can help establish our presence in professional baseball.

Position Overview

First X&XI is seeking an experienced Baseball Agent to help develop and lead our baseball representation division.

We are looking for a professional with knowledge of the baseball industry, established relationships, and a passion for helping athletes maximize their professional opportunities.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in player representation, athlete recruitment, contract negotiations, marketing, or professional baseball operations.

This individual will play an important role in shaping our baseball division and contributing to the long-term growth of First X&XI.

Key Responsibilities

* Recruit and develop relationships with baseball players at the amateur, collegiate, minor league, and professional levels.

* Identify opportunities to represent athletes pursuing professional baseball careers.

* Build relationships with MLB organizations, scouts, coaches, trainers, and other industry professionals.

* Support player marketing, endorsement opportunities, and brand partnerships.

* Advise athletes on career development and professional opportunities within the scope of applicable qualifications.

* Help establish and expand First X&XI’s baseball division.

* Develop a pipeline of prospective clients and long-term athlete relationships.

* Collaborate with the agency’s leadership team to establish growth strategies.

Qualifications

* Experience in baseball player representation, sports management, scouting, player development, or a related field.

* Established relationships within the baseball community are strongly preferred.

* Understanding of MLB, Minor League Baseball, amateur baseball, and the player development process.

* Strong communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

* Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build a growing sports agency.

* Ability to work independently and contribute to the agency’s long-term vision.

MLBPA certification or eligibility to obtain the required certification is important for candidates who intend to represent Major League players in contract negotiations. Applicable certification and representation requirements will depend on the work performed.
